Since I just got serious about sewing back in late fall, my closet is in obvious need of things to wear as the weather improves and I can no longer hide under cardigans everyday. Last weekend I went on a marathon sewing spree and that consisted of two new Maggies. A few days later and pattern still out, I made another one with some small scraps I couldn’t bare tossing under the table.
First up, Short sleeve with a 1 inch bicep adjustment, Top length, low scoop neck
I made the size 24 with the included Full Bust Adjustment pieces, graded to a 28 at the waist and hip. This fabric is a super soft bushed poly from I am so blessed.
Next up
Tunic Length with the full bust adjusted pieces, Size 24 graded to a 28, Short sleeves with a 1 inch bicep adjustment, low neckline. This fabric is Liverpool from I am sew blessed also.
Lastly, A Maggie Dress! My first Maggie Dress. This dress came about because I had some leftover Gallery DBP fabric from Sly Fox Fabric that I literally couldn’t toss in the scrap bin because I loved it too much so it became sleeves and a neckband.
Again size 24 graded to a 28. I used the included full bust adjustment pieces again. I adjusted the bicep 1 inch and made short sleeves. This is the dress length.
